Thought as this hasn't exactly kicked off yet I thought I'd let you guys on here know about a cool gig coming up in October.
It's gonna be on Sunday October 22nd and is strictly speaking a private party in that the performers involved invite a select little audience and play a filmed set in the coolest setting ever quite close to Pilton in Somerset.
If someone could sort out a couple of cars or a van or something and split travel costs like that I know my dad would drive. Depends on how it sounds to people? I know it would be a good networking opportunity as much as anything for people. The site is run by Dizzi and Zak who live in a bus on site and have a marquee set up for bands to rehearse and recording and broadcasting equipment on the bus.
They have worked really hard at landscaping their land and have created a natural 'rock stage' in a hollow edged by trees. It is magical and has tremendous visual and perhaps even spiritual qualities. If people definitely interested in attending let me know via a personal message or something then I can let my dad know some numbers and we can start organising transport.

I'll mention it to big Dave. Em obviously. Hopefully Rich and Emma. Jon and his missus, Rob Watts. Little Russ. Lorna. Shane & Maudie might be interested. Mr Koulias etc. We should get a little mini bus load. Hope that's ok with Dizzi and Zak, I'll check! This whole thing may be a bit much! Should be cool though. Needs a bit of atmosphere for people to perform so if all performers bring a little crowd with them, their little plot of land will be full. Now ladies, remember to wear suitable footwear! Wellies or something similar may be advisable or old trainers! 
though it is starting to sound better after a few day off the streets and rain and in bed in the warm!
