Have decided on the title. It's gonna be called 'Bits & Pieces'.
An immensely gifted bunch of musicians are helping out. Danny Cox on drums and Bill Banwell on bass. Also Nick Koulias from Eleven Eleven on guitar and Jimmy Galvin from System Vertigo on piano (he's gonna help produce it too).
We're gonna record it Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th November at Supersonix Studio's which is run by an old mate of mine Tony Hobden and this is where I recorded the session and interview for Star FM that was broadcast recently.
The tracklisting will probably be as follows...
'Yeah Yeah'
This is the chilled out builder of a song that opens up the majority of my live sets.
'Fragmented Society'
Haven't been that happy with this tune up until last night! Bill and Danny love playing it because it's got a great groove and they get to show their vituosity a bit. Jimmy co-wrote another part for the song which is going to replace the verses which I've always thought to be a bit mundane. Mundane is not a word you'd use to describe it now! Kind of like 'Movin' On Up' by Primal Scream in vibe.
'Ignorance Is Bliss'
Proper Matty soul pop.
'Kinetic'
Pop goes the proper popper! ;D
