This site will soon be getting a bit of a make over, some promotion and hopefully some more interest and hits! Thought I'd tell you about my band so far. I'm just keeping it really chilled as I think that is the best way to represent my songwriting currently and have enlisted the help of two accomplished and empathetic young musicians in drummer Danny Cox and bassist Bill Banwell...
They will definitely be performing on September 20th with me when I support Fionn Regan, may play at Alfest with me and will probably record my next EP with me too...
Danny has been playing breakbeats, quirky counter rhythms and syncopated accents more subtly than most drummers I've played with...
Bill is a quick learner of sequence and structure and puts in some really nice flourishes high up the neck during gaps in the music while grooving consisitently for the songs. Really happy with the appointment of these fine young men. Keep you posted!...
